WAVES
CAD tool to graphically input and edit digital waveforms for commercial logical simulators such as Verilog-HDL base logical simulator.
Features
- Extensive compilation functions
- UNDO/REDO
- Online help
- Japanese-language display function
- Event mode and cycle mode
- Non-graphic mode
- User customization
Extensive compilation commands and command options allow a quick waveform compilation.
All compilation operations can be subjected to UNDO (return to a previous state) and REDO (advance to forward state).
Not only command names but also a definition menu allows direct calling of command-related help.
Using the Japanese font function allows menus and messages to be displayed in the Japanese language.
Event mode and cycle mode are available. Event mode allows free compilation of each event (change point), while cycle mode allows representation of a combination of waveforms such as RZ and NRZ and pattern data for individual signals on a cycle basis.
The non-graphic mode not only allows interactive operations using graphic functions but also routine processing including initial signal settings on a batch job basis.
Defining macro commands and various menus allows the user to set up a user-specific operating environment.
